Rides and Goodbye
Well guys and gals, Capital EX is coming to a close. I’m pretty bummed about it, but at the same time I’m happy I was here to experience the fun, laughter, excitement, and entertainment of it all. What an amazing 10 days! I’m so glad I got to meet so many of you and made some new friends. I hope you all had fun, too! The grounds are still open until 11pm so you still have a chance to get back out on the midway one last time. Even if you’re not a ride person, you should still at least check out the Ferris wheel, if only for the view! It’s amazing; I guarantee you’ve never seen Edmonton like this before! I hope you can make it down for one last night of good times, and even stick around for the fireworks afterwards. I know I’ll be there! If you see me, don’t say goodbye, just say “see you soon!” I know I’ll be back next year- I wouldn’t miss it!
Anyway, I’m off to redeem my 10% off coupon I got from the WestJet booth and I’m heading home. Thanks for the good times Edmonton! See you next year!

EX-Treme Reball Quest
Look out world- I’m on the move in the EX-Treme Reball Quest game at Capital EX! It’s pretty ideal since you get all the fun of paintball, without the mess! Challenge your friends to a game in Bonanza Park, it’s so much fun! I didn’t even know Reball existed until Capital EX- I’m learning so many awesome things. If you guys come down, you can play 1 on 1 or 3 on 3, and you’ll get the full experience as you suit up in your vest, goggles and life size reball gun. Once your done there, head over to the The EX Zone where you’ll see some of the top riders in the sport of snowmobile (sled) and FMX perform crazy stunts! It looks like they can defy gravity with their super flips and amazing tricks! You can learn more here. Oh, and here’s the hours for EX-Treme Reball Quest if you need them:

Monster Trucks and WestJet Booth
Vroooooom!! Are you guys pumped up for the Capital EX Monster Truck Show? These awesome trucks are monstrous alright; they weigh at least 10,000 pounds each and can jump over 35 ft in the air! It’s definitely the type of thing you don’t have a chance to see very often. I even got a first hand, behind the scenes look at these bad boys and trust me, they do not disappoint! They’re large and in charge! Everyone was having a great time around these trucks and I know you will too. A little adrenaline filled entertainment could be just what you need to unwind! Just ask the WestJet folks, who were hanging out with us for the afternoon. We got to ride in the truck and pose for pictures, it was totally cool!

Michael Jackson
Have you ever seen a laser show before? I didn’t know what a laser show was until today when I made my daily trip to the Capital EX grounds. The midway has tons of food, games, rides, and fun, but there’s also tons of cool stuff inside the EXPO Centre! The The Spirit of Michael Jackson – Laser Spectacular totally blew my mind! Really neat lasers danced to the sounds of Michael’s biggest hits. I love his music, and the laser show really delivered, so I totally recommend it! It’s inside Hall D just inside the EXPO Centre, with shows twice a day, at 2:00pm and 5:00pm. I know I’ll be going again- I got these cool laser glasses and a sweet t-shirt too. You can even get your own Michael Jackson glove if you like! They don’t make these things to fit a gorilla hand like mine but that didn’t stop me from showing my MJ spirit!
